Privacy policy
We cannot read your journal.
Zilli has no developer account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or tracking. Your private work is not sent to a Zilli server.
What the Zilli app collects
Zilli does not collect or receive usage analytics, advertising identifiers, diagnostics, journal content, voice recordings, transcripts, notes, habits, focus sessions, prompts, or Zilli AI responses. The app does not require sign-up or login.
Loop and Stack
Loop timing and Stack habit data are stored on your device. Their reminders, alarms, Live Activities, and widgets use Apple’s system services.
Slate
Your voice is recorded on your iPhone and Slate audio remains there. Transcription uses Apple’s on-device speech frameworks. Slate reflections use Zilli AI locally after its optional model has been installed. Weekly review analysis also runs on the device.
Zilli AI
Zilli AI is an optional download. Apple’s Background Assets service delivers its model files and iOS manages their local storage. Once installed, prompts and responses are processed on your iPhone. Zilli does not operate an AI inference server.
iCloud
Void uses your private iCloud database to keep its note available across your Apple devices. Slate transcript and reflection backup is optional and off by default; if enabled, it uses your private iCloud database. Slate audio is not included. Apple operates iCloud and processes this data under your Apple account and Apple’s terms.
Apple downloads and system services
An internet connection can be required to download Zilli AI or speech-language assets and to use iCloud. iOS also provides notifications, alarms, Live Activities, widgets, and background delivery. Core writing, timing, habits, transcription after required language assets are installed, and Zilli AI after its model is installed do not require a Zilli server.
Voluntary feedback
The Zilli app and this website can open a Zilli feedback form hosted by Google Forms. It asks for a category, Zilli area, message, and optional reply email and device details. If you submit it, Zilli receives the information you choose to provide and uses it to answer support requests and improve the product.
The form is configured not to collect verified Google account email addresses and does not require sign-in. If you are already signed in, Google may display your account and save draft progress, but the account address is marked as not shared with Zilli. An email address reaches Zilli only if you type it into the optional reply field.
Google stores responses on Zilli’s behalf and may process account, connection, device, usage, and cookie information under Google’s Privacy Policy. The form is separate from your private Zilli content. Do not paste journal text, recordings, passwords, or other sensitive information into it.
This website
This static website is delivered through Cloudflare. Zilli has not enabled website analytics, advertising pixels, user accounts, or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may process standard connection and security information to deliver and protect the site. No Google Forms request is made until you choose to open the external feedback form.
Retention and deletion
On-device content remains until you delete it or remove the app. iCloud content is controlled through your Apple account and Zilli’s in-app controls. Feedback submissions are kept only as long as reasonably needed for support and product improvement. Anonymous submissions may not be identifiable after submission.
Your choices
- Zilli AI is not downloaded until you request it.
- Slate iCloud backup is off until you enable it.
- You can remove Zilli AI and local Zilli content from the app.
- You can manage iCloud, microphone, speech, notification, live activity, and background permissions in iPhone Settings.
- You do not need to submit the external feedback form to use Zilli.
